Bicuspid aortic valve is commonly associated with infective endocarditis with serious peri annular complications. We report a case of 37-year-old male patient presented with infective endocarditis involving bicuspid aortic valve with leaflet perforation and severe aortic regurgitation. Mitral valve was involved secondary to aortic valve endocarditis as a kissing lesion with severe mitral regurgitation. Anterior mitral leaflet (AML) had aneurysmal dilatation with mobile vegetations inside it. In colour Doppler, AML aneurysm was looking like a fireball inside the left atrium. Patient was treated with antibiotics and referred to surgery for aortic and mitral valve replacement.

The present study was designed to evaluate the alterations in the liver tissues especially ITO and Kupffer cells of both castrated and castrated mice treated with10 µl/g of grape juice. The present study was conducted on forty five healthy males of Swiss albino mice, which were divided into 3 groups (N= 15 mice per each group). The first group was intact (control); the second one was castrated and the third group was castrated treated with 10 µl/g of grape juice. The ultra-structure sections of liver tissue from intact (control) group showed normal structure of both hepatocytes and sinusoids, with smooth external surfaces. Whereas ultra-sections from castrated group resulted in: degeneration of hepatocytes, deterioration of sinusoids; rough external surfaces, with aggregations of lipid droplets and white blood cells as compared with the control group. However treatment of castrated subjects with10µl/g of grape juice resulted in activation the regeneration processes in both hepatocytes and sinusoids, with smooth appearance of the external surfaces as compared with control group. The present study concluded that surgical castration aggravated increased hepatic steatosis and increased inflammatory response by increased activation of Kupffer and Ito cells, these effects could be reserved by aggravated increased grape juice administration.

The main problem of psychiatry is that, having gained huge empirical experience in observing psychopathology, it has not become a full-fledged science. Perhaps this happened because Western medicine followed a path different from Eastern medicine - the path of deep study of private pro-phenomena of diseases and the search for their natural causes. However, huge problems lie along this path - the multifactorial impact of the external environment and the limited knowledge of man. As a result, a paradoxical state of affairs was created in psychiatrics and psychology: not a single objective method of research was created that allows you to diagnose mental illness due to the fact that there is still no ones idea of? how the brain performs its main function - to think. That is, the reasons for psychiatry failures lie in the deep crisis of neurophysiology.

Thymus capitatus extract has been considered a promise as antiviral agent against COVID-19 viruses. We hypothesized that Thymus capitatus components may interact with key protein targets of COVID-19 (coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) causing severe acute respiratory syndromes. Molecular docking analysis was carried out using 31 components of Thymus capitatus with SARS-CoV-2 protease enzyme (6LU7) and spike glycoprotein (6VSB). The compounds with the best normalized docking scores to protease enzyme were allo-Aromadendrene (-6.3 kcal/mole), spathulenol (-6.6 kcal/mole) and ledene (-6.8 kcal/mole). The best docking ligands for spike glycoprotein were allo-Aromadendrene (-6.6 kcal/mole), spathulenol (-6.6 kcal/mole) and ledene (-7.3 kcal/mole). All Thymus capitatus components may act synergistically to produce the therapeutic action. Thymus capitatus components may potentiate the effect of prednisolone, azithromycin and other medicines used to treat COVID-19 patients.

Pulmonary Carcinosarcoma is an uncommon malignant biphasic tumor that accounts for less than 1% of all lung cancers. It is defined by coexisting histologic elements of carcinomatous and sarcomatous components. We report a case of advanced stage pulmonary carcinosarcoma in an 83-year-old patient, treated with immunotherapy with a good response lasted for more than one year.
